About the role
To support our continued growth, we are searching for a casual NDT Technician with RT2/UT2 to join the team in our Kwinana facility and to assist with FIFO R&R coverage. Work is generally based in the Perth metro area, however there will be opportunities for work at site locations.
- Location - Kwinana and other regional work sites
- Project description - Casual work, assisting with site R&R coverage and working around the local area
- LOCAL and DIDO for R&R coverage when required
- Rates - Attractive rate + penalties + allowances for site work
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct NDT and inspection work;
- Liaise with clients and provide clear and concise results and information as required.
- Prepare and compile reports;
- Equipment maintenance & calibration
- Strong Safety Focus
- Willing to work away from home on occasions
- Strong committed and focus on safety, with previous use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
- RT - Level 2 ISO 9712 (or equivalent)
- UT - Level 2 ISO 9712 (or equivalent)
- MT- Level 2 ISO 9712 (or equivalent)
- PT - Level 2 ISO 9712 (or equivalent)
- WA Radiation Safety Licence required for Radiographers
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
