We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and possess relevant experience in providing support to both adults and children with various medical conditions including dementia and ADHD. This role involves offering assistance, personal care, and companionship to enhance the well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Provide personalised support to individuals (adults and children) with disability
Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal care, feeding and social engagement, tailoring support to meet individual needs.
Safely transport clients to appointments, outings, and activities using your own vehicle.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all interactions with clients, their families, and other team members.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines while delivering care and support services.
Requirements:
Fluency in English:
- Exceptional verbal communication skills in English
Experience:
- Proven experience in providing support to adults and children with disability
Driver's License and Car:
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Access to a reliable vehicle for transportation purposes.
NDIS Worker & Screening Check:
- Completion of the NDIS worker and screening check.
Valid Forms of ID:
- Provide and maintain valid forms of identification
