Experienced Underground Coal Mine Electricians

The Role:

Banksia Group Provide Outbye, Development and Longwall services. 

We are currently seeking Experienced Underground Mine Workers who possess relevant experience and expertise within the Underground Coal mining industry. Positions are Permanent Local/DIDO positions located within our long-term Contact Partner Whitehaven Coal Limited, conducting operations at Narrabri Underground Coal Mine. 

In addition to the above, you will have a genuine commitment to safety and demonstrate a sound understanding of risk and hazard identification. 
You will be an exceptional team member with a flexible attitude and great work ethic.  

These positions are Permanent positions with rosters including:

• 7/7 Day Shift 
• Midweek N/S 
• Weekend N/S 

All positions are conducted under 12.5 hr shifts. 

Mandatory Requirements - Electricians:

• Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Qualifications
• Current electrical license
• Current EEHA
• Current LVR/CPR

To be successful with your application you must have the following - 

• Minimum 12 Months Underground Coal experience
• Hold relevant Trade Certificate 
• Work Alone Authorisation
• Current, or willingness to obtain, NSW Order 43 medical - including drug and alcohol screening
• Detailed evidence of previous Underground Coal experience
• Valid & Current driver’s licence 
• Proven excellent track record in safety and compliance
• Conduct as a Team member with a high work ethic
