The ABM Group is a leading service provider to the Coal Industry with a comprehensive range of skilled personnel across all aspects of the Underground Mining Industry including - Fault Driveage, Development Driveage, Services, Conveyor Installation and Maintenance.
We are currently seeking experienced personnel for the following positions -
- Experienced Underground Operators for Longwall and Development - $66hr + $12.50/hr Market/Retention Allowance + Coal Bonus
- Experienced Underground Electrician or Fitter for Development- $76hr + $12.50/hr Market/Retention Allowance + Coal Bonus
- Subcontracting opportunities also available for the Fitters and Electrician positions - $115/hr + $12.50/hr Market/Retention Allowance + Coal Bonus
For these positions you must display excellent risk management and safety behaviours and a driven productivity focus.
Desirable skills and experience - Operators:
- Joy Miner experience
- Shuttle Car tickets
- Miner bolter tickets
- LHD, Hand Held Bolting and Drift Runner Tickets
Mandatory Requirements - Fitters:
- Underground Diesels and Heavy Machinery Experience
- DES and brake test certificates highly regarded
- Hydraulics and Conveyor Experience
- Fitter/Mechanical Trade Certificate
Mandatory Requirements - Electricians:
- Current Electrical Licence
- Current EEHA
- Current LVR/CPR
Mandatory Requirements all positions:
- Minimum 1 years Underground Experience
- Current Standard 11 Underground & Surface
