Software Database Administrator

A Civil Construction company in Melbourne is looking to add a Software Engineer / Database Administrator to a small technology team to help shape their digital future.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of software development and database expertise which will aid in optimising the IT systems and data.In the role you will integrate systems, develop apps, and enhance existing ones while ensuring compliance and security. It's a unique role, one of a kind with a small IT team and you'll be able to create a big impact in your critical role.Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Optimize core systems and databases.
• Ensure robust database design and security.
• Develop applications for streamlined processes.
• Manage internal software solutions - be the go to expert, own the applications end to end
• Stakeholder Management

Requirements:

• Experience in Software Engineer / Database Administrator role
• Full Software Development Life Cycle experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Porgramming experience in the likes of C++, C#, VB Script, Visual Basic, Java
• Experience with data integration and AWS a plus
• Experience with administration, performance tuning of relational database systems such as MySQL,

PostgreSQL or MS SQL including the creation of Stored Procedures and Views.
- Creation and management of SSRS Reports as required. Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 Base + Super
