***Salary: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Duties:
• Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry with workpalce communication
• New tiling and grouting
• Retiling and Tiling Repairs
• Epoxy Grouting
• Handle floor tiling materials and equipment
• Plan, measure and mark surfaces to be covered and lay out work
• Read and interpret plans and specifications
• Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, cement and adhesives
• Fill all holes and cracks, then clean surfaces
• Attache tiles to surfaces, using correct adhesive, making sure that patterned tiles match
• Use tile-cutting tools to cut and shapetiles needed for edges, corners or around obstacles such as fittings and pipes
• Space and even the tiles by using tools such as spirit level, squares and plumb lines
• Lay floors of cement, granolothic, terrazzo or similar composition
• Apply waterproofing systems
Qualifications/work experiences required:
• Certification III wall and floor tiling
• White Card
• At least 2 years work experience
