NW Mining & Civil are seeking the right person for a
HR Truck Driver position delivering explosives to mine-site and off-site clients in the region, based out of their
Mt Isa depot.Working as part of our client’s small team, but provided with excellent training & support, the duties of this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Deliveries of explosives and associated product to clients in the NW region
- Providing assistance to the magazine keeper in relation to packing and receiving orders
- Basic data entry on the computer and paperwork as required
- General yard work that involves manual handling and working at heights
- Loading & unloading trucks
- Operating a forklift to carry out the above tasks
The right person might not necessarily have done this role before, but the skills that you will already possess include:
- Good computer & literacy skills
- Great communication & teamwork skills
- Keen & willing to give anything a go
- Good customer service skills
- Able to work autonomously and show initiative
- Take pride in your work and strive to continually improve
- Ability to pass explosive security checks
- HR truck licence
- High risk forklift licence
The roster will be Monday to Friday, 6am-330pm. An excellent salary is on offer for this full time position.Applicants should reside in
