SalaryWe are an International freight forwarding company operating worldwide with two offices in Australia. Our Adelaide office is located at Dulwich. We are in search of a full time import / export operator to join our Adelaide team. Previous experience in freight forwarding and import customs procedures / protocols is certainly preferable for this role however some level of prior knowledge of import / export logistics and/or the wine export sector would be seen as an advantage. The successful applicant will be provided with full training in the use of our in-house operating and accounting software systems.
We are seeking someone who is reliable, dedicated, well organised and motivated and above all will show an aptitude for learning and understanding new systems. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal), they will possess basic administration and computer skills and will be comfortable working in a small team environment within our office.
Key Areas:
- Liaising with wineries, transport companies, warehouses & shipping lines
- Liaising with our Global network of offices
- Accurate Data entry
- Export Clearance
- Able to articulate and understand Excel spreadsheets and P&L’s
This is a permanent full-time position and the salary package will be discussed at the time of interview.
