About the Role
Our team is growing! Join our fantastic team with an opportunity for an experienced Operations Officer to take their freight forwarding career to the next level!
Based in our Adelaide branch, you will join a passionate and supportive team that has a wealth of experience and knowledge and that will support your professional growth.
Your day-to-day will involve performing end-to-end freight forwarding operations and developing and maintaining relationships with our clients and service providers. Our “Commitment to Service” philosophy encourages every member of our organisation to provide a high level of proactive customer service and support.
As an experienced freight forwarding operator, you will know the role is hands on and can be busy, and you will relish both the challenge and opportunity to go the extra mile and deliver an amazing customer experience for our clients.
To be successful you will:
- Have prior experience as a freight forwarding operator
- Have sea and air Import/Export experience
- Be well organised and able to manage your time to meet deadlines
- Enjoy helping customers, with a drive to deliver world-class customer service
- Be an excellent communicator over phone and email
- Enjoying working as part of a team, and independently
- Have basic computer skills, with Cargowise experience (or similar) highly desirable
