About the role
This role involves managing and coordinating the entire logistics process for exporting table grapes from Australia to international markets.
Main Responsibilities
(must be demonstrated in your application letter/resume)
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the export process, including shipment planning, bookings, scheduling, and documentation preparation.
- Ensure timely execution of export orders.
- Collaborate closely with production, freight forwarders, and customs brokers, shipping lines, transport and other relevant parties to facilitate efficient Export Logistics
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, phytosanitary requirements, and documentation standards for table grape exports
- Select and negotiate contracts with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport providers to optimise Export Logistics operations
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges in the Export Logistics process
Education / Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in Export Logistics, specifically in the export of perishable food products, with a strong preference for experience in fruit exports.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in coordinating Export Logistics operations, including shipment planning, freight management, and compliance.
