As the Project Controls Manager, you will be at the helm of project control functions, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and in accordance with stringent quality benchmarks.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning:Develop and implement robust project control processes, systems, and procedures.Collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to grasp project scope, objectives, and requirements.Assist in crafting comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.Cost Management:Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to approved budgets.Analyse project expenses meticulously, furnishing accurate and timely cost reports.Proactively identify and address cost overruns, proposing corrective actions as necessary.Schedule Management:Create and maintain project schedules encompassing all pertinent activities and milestones.Vigilantly monitor progress against schedules, identifying potential delays or bottlenecks.Collaborate with project teams to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.Risk Management:Identify, assess, and manage project risks and uncertainties.Devise robust risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.Conduct regular reviews and updates of risk registers for proactive risk management.Change Control:Establish and manage change control processes, documenting and evaluating changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.Ensure proper authorization and communication of approved changes.Performance Measurement:Implement performance measurement and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to gauge project progress and success.Generate and disseminate regular project performance reports to stakeholders.Facilitate seamless communication among project teams, management, and stakeholders concerning Project Controls status and issues.Provide regular updates on project performance, spotlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.Quality Assurance:Uphold adherence to established quality standards across Project Controls activities.Conduct audits and reviews to verify compliance with Project Controls processes.Foster collaboration with other functional areas like finance, procurement, and human resources to integrate Project Controls activities.Work closely with project managers and teams to ensure alignment between project plans and controls.Continuous Improvement:Identify and seize opportunities for process enhancement within the Project Controls function.Implement best practices and incorporate lessons learned from past projects.Skills & Experience:Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.Extensive experience in Project Controls, project management, or a related field.Proven track record of managing Project Controls within energy or resources projects.Proficiency in project management tools and software.Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.Join Our Team:Embark on a rewarding career journey as part of KBR’s Energy Solutions Australia team where your expertise and passion for excellence will be valued and celebrated.
