AddressDowner Utilities provides end-to-end service solutions across Power, Gas, Telecommunications, Water and Wastewater, Metering Services, Power, Transmission and Renewable constructions.
Due to growth and expansion, Downer Utilities is now seeking Expressions of Interest for a range of opportunities servicing the greater Sunshine Coast region.
THE ROLE
The Project Control Manager implements and optimises strategic principles relating to Project Management, scheduling processes, commercial management, and financial control. This is an embedded Program role driving commercial and financial outcomes and would suit a commercially astute leader that prides themselves on effective relationship and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities include:
- Work alongside of Project Directors, Project Managers and Commercial teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in governance, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and quality parameters.
- Provide technical advice, consultation and support to improve business outcomes and support the success of Downers strategic objectives.
- Prepare monthly project claims, client invoices, compile project reporting, collect and process central data and track project performance pertaining to Project Control KPI’s.
- Ensure appropriate availability, resource and skill allocation across Project Scheduling, Commercial Management and Financial Controls.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience leading a Project Controls team in a large infrastructure project or program.
- Strong technical, financial management, budget identification, forecasting and reporting capabilities.
- Expertise in critical path method scheduling, Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
- Excellent understanding of end-to-end project delivery, contractual structures and management.
- Influential interpersonal skills, collaborative nature and the ability to communicate and engage meaningfully with a range of industry professionals.
