Company Overview:

This company is a reputable accounting and consulting firm specializing in providing comprehensive financial solutions to a diverse range of clients specifically in the NFP sector.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated External Auditor to join our dynamic team. The External Auditor will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and transparency of financial information for our clients. This role involves conducting audits of various organizations, identifying potential risks, and providing recommendations for improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform External Audits for a variety of clients, adhering to audit standards and guidelines (Preferrably the NFP space)
  • Evaluate financial statements, transactions, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
  • Identify and assess potential financial and operational risks, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with client personnel to gather relevant information and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports outlining findings and recommendations.
  • Stay updated with changes in auditing standards and regulations to ensure compliance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in External Auditing.
  • Strong understanding and application of Australian Accounting Standards (AASBs) and Australian Standards of Auditing (ASAs)
  • Proficiency in using auditing software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
