Fantastic opportunity for an intermediate auditor with a flair for accounting to join a friendly and expanding audit team in a modern office in the heart of the Sunshine Coast.
This is a mid-tier, well established accounting firm with an excellent reputation. In this busy and varied role, you will work with a broad and diverse range of clients, providing you with both challenging and interesting work.
The successful candidate will have:-
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Commerce
- Completed, commenced or willing to commence CPA/CA
- 1-2 years audit experience
- Experience not only in auditing, but also in accounting
- The ability to put together audit adjustment journals as well as excel spreadsheets / workpapers to support audit findings.
- An eye for detail and accuracy in regards to the correctness, completeness of all workpapers
- Caseware experience
- The ability to work independently and have a team player attitude
- An understanding of how to improve audit files and think outside the box to discuss any improvements you might think of when working in the team in order to ensure efficiency and accuracy
