The Firm:My client is a highly respected and well established public practice firm based in the northern suburbs of Brisbane, specialising in Accounting & Bookkeeping, Tax, Audit, Superannuation, and Business Advisory.Due to growth, they are now seeking a career focused
Intermediate/Senior Auditor - External to join their team to provide top quality external audit services to their clients.The successful candidate will have access to a variety of audits working across a diverse range of clients and will have direct access to the Partners and Managers within their dynamic team.
Your responsibilities include:- Conducting audit engagements with large private and listed companies.
- Assist with planning, execution and scheduling staff.
- Address technical issues and assist in preparing position papers.
- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with AASB and IFRS.
- Management and mentoring of team members.
- Liaise with clients by telephone and face to face in the future.
About You
- 3+ years experience in external audit
- Fully qualified CA/CPA or nearing completion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Strong attention to detail
