Your new role
As the Fabrication Supervisor, the selected candidate will lead a skilled team of eight boilermakers, overseeing the maintenance, repair, and fabrication of high-quality tankers, trailers, and tippers. This role demands a hands-on leader capable of ensuring that all projects adhere strictly to safety standards while meeting critical deadlines. The supervisor will be pivotal in maintaining workflow efficiency, optimizing team performance, and ensuring that each piece of equipment meets our client's renowned standards for quality and innovation. What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience leading a team of fabricators
- Previous experience in heavy vehicle fabrication while not essential, will be highly regarded
- Familiarity with budgeting and scheduling processes is advantageous
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including 5 hours on Saturdays every three weeks
- Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire a team of skilled boilermakers
- Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards in all projects
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to efficiently handle workflow and project challenges
