Your new company is a specialist general engineering firm which provides solutions for varied industries; FMCG, pharmaceutical, and other industries supplying both custom one-off engineered solutions and batch products for the end clients needs.
Having state of the art equipment onsite, such as brake press machines, laser cutters, robot welders and a project management arm; there is ample opportunity to multi skill yourself if desired. Your new role
Your new role will see you reporting to the Production Supervisor and working day shift 6.30 – 3pm with weekly overtime on offer 5- 10 hours averaged. You will be working with a team of TIG Fabricators highly skilled in the field.
You will be working with metals such as aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel, copper and brass. Your ability to interpret complex engineering drawings will be essential to fabricating, and adhering to production welding and more intricate types. Your weld bay is situated in a state of the art facility with competent fabricators all around to provide mentorship.
What you need to succeed
- Proven ability as a fabricator working with Mig mild steel, TIG stainless (light and medium gauge)
- Day shift availability 6.30am start
- Flexibility to adhere to overtime
- Alloy, coper and brass experience will be deemed as advantageous
- Team player, and the ability to work autonomously to read and interpret drawings with excellent execution
- Work in a clean, safety – conscious facility with state of the art equipment
