We are currently looking for an experienced Facilities Analyst to join our Operational Readiness team based on a 12 month maximum-term contract at our advanced manufacturing site in Port Melbourne.
The role may be extended dependent upon business conditions and individual performance.
This role will be supporting the implementation of a new Maintenance structure into the business. The successful candidate will support the detailed and ongoing data analysis associated with sustaining the total productive maintenance programs and many of the continuous improvement programs within maintenance and Facilities areas of the business. The position will become a key member of the maintenance management team reporting directly to the Maintenance, Plant and Equipment Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
- Monitor existing complex contract(s) to determine compliance.
- Develop contract specifications for supplier goods and services and relevant documents.
- Facilitate team relationships to ensure a thorough understanding of the organization's needs and requirements and the continuous improvement of contractual processes.
- Create and deploy schedules based on system customer and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with internal and external suppliers and customers to coordinate scheduled activities.
- Undertake essential service reviews, and building code of Australia audits and imitate mitigation programs.
- Use project management tools and industry-recognized concepts to develop scope of and schedules to support the maintenance and Facilities teams achieve desired outcomes on time and within budget.
- Take a lead role in collecting data from various systems to perform analysis.
- Identify and analyze deficiencies and feeding this data onto the appropriate maintenance and Facilities supporting personnel.
- Analyze trend data in Maximo to identify opportunities for improvement and to develop resolution plans for buildings equipment systems processes and procedures.
- Prepare and present reports explaining options impact and recommendations for the maintenance and engineering teams including KPI and project compliance.
- Coordinate the processing of complex or unique requests to meet customer needs.
- Responsible for support the data analysis for the development of the maintenance monthly report, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance KPIs
- Support the development of Cognos reporting within Maximo.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or relevant technical qualification is preferred although not essential.
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing maintenance and Facilities environment required
- Previous work experience in data analysis on an asset management system required (Maximo & Cognos)
- Strong computer-based skills in Microsoft Office products required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

This is a Non EBA position IJC 8AAFX3. Remuneration will be dependent on skills and experience. The successful candidate will be required to complete background checks and a 3 month probationary period.
