This is a full time position at a HEP 8, $102,256 - $115,153 plus 17% employer superannuation, working 36.75 hours per week over a continuing contract period.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assets Analyst to join our team. The Assets Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and ongoing management of an integrated asset management program via the effective management of our asset information system and data outputs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your strong data management and analysis skills to inform decision making that drives optimisation and performance of VU's asset base.
Working within a collaborative, innovative and supportive work environment, this position reports to the Manager, Engineering Services.
Adopting a best practice approach, examples of your responsibilities or duties you may perform will include:
- Implementation of a robust asset information system approach including developing standard operating procedures, ensuring data integrity, systems management and reporting.
- Undertaking data analysis and modelling to provide evidence-based advice and recommendations to management.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams identify potential areas for improvement relating to VU's asset base.
- Conducting regular audits, gap analysis, reviews of asset data and the asset information system and ensuring that the platform is adequately supported and continuously improved on.

About You:
You are an Asset Management professional with experience in a similar role within a complex organisation with a large asset base. You will possess:
- A proactive and solutions driven approach
- Strong interpersonal skills with strong regard for stakeholder relationships and high level of service
- Thorough understanding of best practices as it relates to Asset Management including PAS 55 and/or ISO 55001 and/or AMAF
- Excellent understanding and experience in asset information systems
- Demonstrated experience in data and statistical analysis within Asset Management field and ability to interpret/translate data and present to various audience
- Data reporting (internal and external)
- Flexibility and willingness to diversify existing skillset across other assets
- Understanding of Carbon Net Zero or sustainable infrastructure initiatives will be an advantage.
