Energy Analyst - Fixed Term

The Opportunity:  

This up to 12-month Fixed term role offers an opportunity for a skilled and proactive individual to work as an Energy Analyst within the City FM Energy Centre supporting our partner Coles to achieve their sustainability targets. 

The Role: 

• Investigation and resolution of Energy Event exceptions identified by the City Energy Management System.  
• Continuous interrogation of systems to identify energy consumption trends within stores to determine areas of improvement.  
• Proactively identify innovative energy conservation measures to reduce consumption, demand and cost.  
• Analyse information, using COMS, site controllers, databases and other systems to present information in various formats (i.e. spreadsheets, charts, written reports.)  energy
• Communicating with the field workforce to gather supporting information and achieve desired energy performance outcomes.  
• Maintain energy usage baselines.  
• M&V of savings achieved from energy event analysis.  
• Upkeep records of Energy Event analysis in required format for auditing. 

To Be Considered: 

• Experience in Commercial Refrigeration, HVAC equipment, Building Management Systems, Commercial Lighting and Solar– Preferred.  
• Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills (i.e. Pivot tables) - Essential.  
• Previous experience working in engineering and/or energy management – Preferred.   

Qualifications: 

• Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) – favourable. 
• Degree qualifications (Mechanical/Control Systems Engineering) – Required
  
• Willingness / eagerness to learn, grow and develop into Energy Management sector.
