The Facilities Management Directorate is responsible for the planning and management of the CQUniversity Estate. We are seeking a motivated all-rounder to provide effective support to the grounds and maintenance teams and perform supervised duties related to these functions.
Our ideal candidate will have experience performing tradesman assistance tasks and possess the ability to perform a broad range of general services including coordinating office moves, furniture relocations, cleaning fleet vehicles, physical set up of special events/functions and grounds maintenance tasks. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working as a high-involvement team member collaborating and cooperating with other departments to achieve positive business outcomes.

Position Requirements
- Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, simple tasks involving labour, minor maintenance and minor workplace upkeep.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of grounds equipment and machinery (mowers, tractors, whipper snippers, hedge trimmers).
- Completed Year 12 without work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Open Manual Driver’s Licence.
- Basic understanding of occupational health and safety, quality assurance, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination as applied in the working environment.
