Reporting to the Facilities and Services Procurement Manager, this role will be responsible for managing planned and reactive maintenance relating to soft services for Spotlight Group Holdings stores and assets. The soft services being managed will include cleaning, waste, pest, and hygiene. This role also includes overseeing and managing utility supply (electricity and gas) to stores and properties.
What You Will Be Doing
Contractor performance management.
Contribute to portfolio performance reporting requirements.
Manage electricity and gas supply to stores and properties (roll-in and roll-out).
Liaising with service providers to coordinate quote requests and work orders.
Engage with stakeholders across all levels of the business to ensure that delivery expectations are met with low financial risk and operational risk.
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) in the procurement of new services and during supplier contract negotiations.
Ensure work is delivered in line with compliance and Work Health Safety standards.
Analyse the work order data to fully understand all issues within your portfolio.
Analyse electricity usage across the portfolio to identify opportunities to reduce usage and spending.
Conduct root cause analysis of various facility-related issues.
Build a positive working relationship with Peers and Support Group Teams.
Being responsive to the external after-hours contact centre.
Review monthly financial reports to identify trends/issues.
Review and negotiation of quotes.
About You
Prior experience in a similar or relevant position is desirable.
Demonstrated experience in delivering facilities services.
Extensive knowledge and significant proven experience managing building maintenance or projects in relation to building services and infrastructure.
High-level interpersonal skills in order to influence and provide key information to support decisions made by a diverse stakeholder group.
Experience with building and property inspections.
Strong communication & negotiation skills.
Experience of implementing new initiatives and change management processes.
Excellent relationship management abilities at all levels.
IT Literate (knowledge of Microsoft products).
Business acumen and ability to think strategically.
SAP, CMMS experience and understanding of Retail environment
