Category Manager for Property, Facilities, and Insurance, you will be responsible for establishing and executing category vision for property and facilities management across ANZ, articulating strong commercial approaches to support Property in delivering their business plan. You will also responsible for some indirect management of our team in India and will sit on the Business & Banking Services category leadership team.The role holder would be key liaison point with group property, working closely with our capital procurement and legal teams, providing updates and applying sound commercial practices to dealing with issues as they arise. This would also include initiating the development and some execution of sourcing strategies.Location: Melbourne VICRole Type: 12-month Secondment
What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Demonstrated experience in commercial management or procurement disciplines
- Problem Solving and ability to bring solutions whilst navigating ambiguity
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of how to balance delivery risk, bring insights through financial analysis and is well versed in applying supplier management practices in an operational context
- Strong business acumen ability to influence outcomes with senior business stakeholders
- Results and Achievement Orientation
- Deep knowledge of value chain, including the ability to manage total cost of ownership and ability to source value beyond price
- Market research and networking skills to ensure ANZ is able to stay at the forefront of industry leading practices, digital disruption and strategic or regulatory trends
- Understanding of end to end procurement lifecycle management across Strategy, Source to Contract, Supplier Relationship Management through to Req. to Pay
