The Facilities Co-Ordinator will work closely with the Group's Facilities and Asset Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all facility-related matters, liaising with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Co-ordinate and oversee facility maintenance, repairs, and service requests to ensure timely resolution and compliance with safety standards.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, including procurement of goods and services, negotiating terms, and monitoring performance.
- Assist with the development and implementation of facility management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to facility operations, expenditures, and compliance requirements.
- Create a culture of service excellence and measurable high levels of customer satisfaction based on a sound set of standards and problem-solving skills.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships within the maintenance team, and across the organization.
- Ensure the processes and systems are continually improved to manage a proactive approach to maintenance and to ensure reactive items are addressed (e.g., compliance actions and work orders).
- Schedule preventative and routine maintenance, monitor adherence to planned maintenance schedules and investigate and report significant variances up the line.
- Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance of the group properties as required including but not limited to:
- changing light globes and fittings; changing tap filters and washers; unblocking toilets, drains and pipes; patching holes in walls; fixing doors, locks and floorboards; painting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Trade / Electrical trade background preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft programs.
- Understanding of HubOS maintenance software or willing to learn.
- Able and willing to interpret and understand property leases.
- Manual driver’s license no restrictions.
- Willing to work around the state (a small amount of travel may be required).
- Prior experience within a workplace/facilities services environment preferred.
- Project management experience of capital and improvement activities (preferred but not essential).
- Australian Citizenship required.
