The role
Do you have experience with the fundamentals of administrating service contracts and an understanding of facilities management?
Working within our Property Services team as our Property Contracts Support Officer you will support the management of facilities related service contracts for the City’s owned and managed buildings and properties.
You will be responsible for administration, development, preparation, implementation and monitoring of proactive, programmed and compliance related facilities service contracts. The team manages contracts which include essential services, automatic doors, pest control, security and cleaning.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that Facilities Contract management processes are in line with the City Contract Management Framework and you will undertake contract management duties with a focus on enhancing service delivery, resolving complex issues and ensuring compliance.
This role is primarily office based in the Bendigo Gov Hub (Galkangu) building, with some occasional travel to facilities. Some out of hours work (after 6pm and weekends) is required.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have excellent administration, computer and communication skills and strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
The ability to create, develop and maintain professional contractor relationships and the ability to solve problems using creativity and originality are essential for this role.
A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
