Job description

Property Network of Australia is seeking a Facilities Coorindator /  Facilities Manager to play a pivotal role in overseeing operations and maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory standards. With a hands-on approach, you'll manage day-to-day activities across a small diverse asset portfolio, ensuring the safety, security, and presentation of their properties.
 
 
Key duties and responsibilities:
 

  • Organising repairs and maintenance throughout the portfolio.
  • Regular property inspections across the portfolio.
  • Managing contractors, daily maintenance issues and following up. 
  • Raising and issuing of Work Orders and Purchase Orders in Yardi. 
  • Maintaining and managing all Service Contracts in Yardi. 
  • Reviewing service contracts where necessary. 
  • Update and maintain the company's facility process documents, registers and systems, also ensuring Yardi is kept up to date. 
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors and tenants. 
  • After-Hours Calls. 
  • Make recommendations on remedial works to reduce risk. 
  • Assist property Manager and Financial Controller with budgeting, planning, and forecasting. 
  • Ensure all contractors satisfy the insurance requirements as required under the company's Public Liability Policy. 
  • Back up support for the Property Manager as needed. 
  • Other ad hoc tasks as directed by the Property Manager.

About you:
 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar commercial property role; 
  • Working knowledge of current legal and regulatory requirements; 
  • Proactive & self-motivated; 
  • Experience in Office 365 (incl Outlook) and Property Management software (Yardi preferable); 
  • People driven and seen to be 'kicking goals'; 
  • Proven experience in the supervision of building services, including fire systems; 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; 
  • A professional and corporate presentation; 
  • Proven time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, whilst maintaining a professional manner; 
  • Current Drivers licence (essential).
