Junior Facilities Manager - Boutique Investment Business

Property Network of Australia is seeking a Junior Facilities Manager to take on a role working for a reputable Boutique Property Investment Firm operating across a portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial assets on the Australian East Coast. The role is offering a total remuneration package of up to $85K + Super.
 
Key duties and responsibilities:

• Organising repairs and maintenance throughout the portfolio.
• Regular property inspections across the portfolio.
• Managing contractors, daily maintenance issues and following up. 
• Raising and issuing of Work Orders and Purchase Orders. 
• Maintaining and managing all Service Contracts. 
• Reviewing service contracts where necessary. 
• Update and maintain the company's facility process documents, registers and systems
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors and tenants. 
• After-Hours Calls. 
• Make recommendations on remedial works to reduce risk. 
• Assist property Manager and Financial Controller with budgeting, planning, and forecasting. 
• Ensure all contractors satisfy the insurance requirements as required under the company's Public Liability Policy. 
• Back up support for the Property Manager as needed. 
• Other ad hoc tasks as directed by the Property Manager.

About you:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar commercial property role; 
• Working knowledge of current legal and regulatory requirements; 
• Experience in Office 365 (incl Outlook) and Property Management software;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; 
• Proven time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, whilst maintaining a professional manner; 
• Current Drivers licence (essential).
