We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Engineer to join our Facilities Team in our Engineering Department based in Dandenong South.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and continuous operation of the site facilities infrastructure, buildings & grounds, and critical process instrumentation.
The type of activities you will be involved in include:
- Supporting the delivery of the Site Facilities maintenance program, including planned and reactive maintenance of site facilities infrastructure, which includes utilities, purified water, compressed air, HVAC systems, building & ground maintenance and process instrumentation.
- Management of the calibration program for site critical process instrumentation.
- Coordinating and overseeing external contractors in compliance with Aspen Contractor Management policies and procedures.
- Assisting in quality and/or safety investigations pertaining to facilities infrastructure, and completion of corresponding CAPAs.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
- Planning, scheduling and monitoring of facilities maintenance works through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
About You:
You will have gained tertiary qualifications in a relevant Engineering specialisation (mechanical, electrical or mechatronics) together with some experience in a similar position within a manufacturing environment (GMP exposure would be highly regarded).
We need you to show us you can think on your feet; there will be problems that arise and you will need to act quickly to solve these. At other times you will see a problem before it is even there and know what to do to fix it. You will have clear verbal and written communication, great attention to detail and sound documentation skills. You must be a people person, be able to listen and relate to others. You will be able to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines. AutoCAD skills and/or experience would be an advantage (but not essential).
