We have a job opening for a “Morning shift” Facilities Handyman to join our facilities team.
The Facilities Handyman is responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager with maintenance and repairs of buildings and production lines.
No prior experience is required, but the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate competence in practical hands-on tasks. The Facilities Handyman will be the first point of call for equipment breakdown support, and in the execution of maintenance activities for the production line morning shift (6:00am – 2:30pm).
Whilst experience in any of the areas of Building Maintenance, HVAC, Electrical, Fire services & Security and basic machinery repair will be well regarded, we are first and foremost searching for someone friendly and approachable who has:
- Ability to take initiative and be pro-active
- Can work autonomously but also communicate effectively with the team
- Good organisational skills and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Basic computer skills
- Current Driver's License
- Basic handyman skills
- A willingness to learn and problem solve
- A ‘hands on’ approach, with attention to detail
- Problem solving skill
- Technical/mechanical aptitude
