Water Well Driller to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of Foremost DR24HD drill rigs ensuring maximum efficiency and optimisation of the fleet whilst while maintaining safety, environmental and heritage standards, to achieve required operational targets for the business.
Key Responsibilities- Operate drill rig and support (mobile plant) equipment in accordance with(OEM specifications and Fortescue's procedures
- Drill and construct water bores as per scope of work
- Identify when consumables and supplies are to be ordered to ensure the continuous operation of the rig
- Demonstration of safe behaviours at all times and displaying the Fortescue values whilst complying with zero harm principles
- Delivery of daily operational targets whilst maintaining all assets to operational capacity and constantly striving to increase process efficiency
- Effectively supervise drill crews and provide support of the development of Trainee Drillers
Qualifications and Experience- HR or MC Driver's License - MC preferred. Should you hold a HR license, you must be willing to obtain an MC within the first 3 months of employment
- Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) preferred
- Operate and Maintain a Four-Wheel Drive Vehicle (RIIVEH305F ) preferred
- High Risk Work License essential - FL, DG, CN
- Class 1 or 2 Water Well Driller's License and Cert III Drilling - Water Well essential
- Significant Foremost DR24HD experience or similar
- Knowledge of
- Excellent time management skills with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge alongside computer literacy within the Microsoft Office Suite
