Drift North is in Casuarina, NSW, and includes a three-story building, housing 44 apartments, with underground car park and enveloped by lush gardens, two swimming pools, and an outdoor spa. The property is occupied by owners, long-term rentals, and holiday rentals.
The Facilities Manager reports to a designated member of the Body Corporate Committee and is responsible for the maintenance of the Drift Apartments North property, ensuring that all work is performed efficiently, in the most cost-effective manner, in accordance with statutory requirements (technical, compliance, safety) whilst maintaining the highest level of customer service.
The Facilities Manager provides staff, contractors, equipment, and machinery needed to meet the requirements of the position.
Areas of responsibility include: Building and carparks, equipment, plant and machinery, grounds, pool and statutory compliance. Further details available upon request.
Requirements: Experience/Knowledge/Qualifications
● Building Management experience - preferably in the multi-unit residential sector
● Understanding of the strata environment – by-laws enforcement, common property
● Gardening/horticultural and pool management experience
● Experience in negotiating with and coordinating certified trades.
● Budgeting skills
● You must have all applicable licences, permits, insurances and qualifications, including appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
● Current NSW Working with Children Check
● National Police Check
