What this job involves
The Facilities Manager will assist the Lead FM with overall Facilities service delivery for a Beverage Production Facility in Bundaberg. You will work with other members of the team to meet all key performance indicators as set out in the management contract.
A Snapshot of the role
- Responsible for site facilities operation.
- Establish Engineering & Operational procedures and roll out for site staff.
- Responsible for delivery of services in accordance with client’s Management SLA
- Ensure compliance with all governmental / mandatory regulations.
- The single point of contact for any technical issues at the site.
- Managing all contracted vendors to carry out technical audits/ maintenance for all installation as schedule.
- Develop technical service standards.
- Initiate planning of Critical Environment procedures
- Provide solutions for technical issues.

You will have experience working as a Facilities Manager, preferably in a production environment and have a good understanding of fundamental technical aspects of property (Computer Room Air-Conditioning, Chiller Systems, Fire Protection Systems, Mechanical & Electrical Systems). A mechanical or electrical trade or qualification would be an advantage.
You’ll also need to be:
- Confident communicator, ability to build and sustain stakeholder relationships and engage with various business lines and levels
- Highly client-focused attitude, exceptional customer service ability
- Hands-on approach to problem solving with the ability to juggle competing deadlines and tasks within a dynamic workplace
- Knowledge of local OH&S and safety requirements, critical facilities and vendor management for specialised services is required
Please note there will be some heavy lifting/ manual handling involved in this role. You will also need to complete a pre-employment medical assessment prior to commencement
