Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and responsible Onsite property manager/Caretaker (preferably Couple) to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the overall office role, property management, maintenance, and security of our property.
Key Caretaker Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of common areas and facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
- Perform routine cleaning duties in common areas, including but not limited to, stairwells, hallways, and recreational spaces.
- Coordinate and oversee landscaping and gardening services with contractor to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property.
- Address minor repairs and maintenance tasks promptly or liaise with external contractors when necessary.
- Monitor security systems and address any security concerns promptly.
- Act as a point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests with excellent communication and people skills.
Property Manager Role:
- Liaising with tenants and landlords
- Undertaking administrative tasks as required
- Conducting condition reports for incoming, routine and outgoing inspections
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests, and liaising with landlords and contractors to resolve issues
- Ability to work without supervision with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with the Rental Tenancies Act and relevant laws
- Property Management License is essential
- Experience with PropertyMe management software
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management, caretaking are essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to handle minor maintenance tasks and coordinate with external contractors.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- A positive and friendly demeanour with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidates will be a couple with strong communication skills.
- Must reside onsite in the provided manager's unit.
- Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend duties.
