An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full-time Team Leader – Moranbah & Clermont Waste Management Facilities to join our team in Moranbah or Clermont. Reporting to the Supervisor - Waste Services, this position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor Waste Services in the delivery of day-to-day operations of the Moranbah and Clermont Waste Management Facilities including supervision of operational employees and contractors engaged in the safe operation on site.

- Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and lead teams.
- Good face to face customer service skills.
- Demonstrated customer service and EFTPOS transaction experience is essential.
- Intermediate computer skills and ability to become proficient in Council’s Mandalay Waste data system.
- Experience with conflict resolution.
- Experience in customer service in a multiservice environment.
- Experience in leading teams would be advantageous.
- Experience in Waste Management would be advantageous.
- The role required the possession of a current C Class Open Australia Drivers Licence.
- White Construction Card
- Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment and/or behavioural testing.
If you are successful in this position, you will receive:
- Salary $76,472.16 - $81,610.14 per annum
- Nominally 76 hours per fortnight
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- RDO’s in accordance with Council Policy
- Up to 13.5% super in accordance with Council Policy
