The Role

Working with one of our flagship Global Corporate Banking clients, you will oversee all facilities functions at their A-grade Sydney office for a 6 month fixed term contract up to December 2024.

With the support of an Assistant Facilities Manager and 2 Reception staff, you will be the main point of contact for all on-site facilities functions across hard and soft services.

Based in Sydney CBD.

Immediate start is available.

A typical day may involve:

  • Delivery of efficient and cost-effective FM services in line with agreed budgets and client expectations.
  • Overseeing all facilities inspections, supervising repair work and maintenance across all office floors and spaces.
  • Direct leadership of an Assistant Facilities Manager and 2 Reception staff.
  • Managing contractors and ensuring compliance with safety and risk management protocols, and reviewing all safety documentation and permits.
  • Managing and reporting incidents, including regular walkthroughs to identify possible issues.
  • Effective handling of work orders, purchase orders and associated admin.
  • Assisting in monitoring environmental health & safety procedures.

Requirements

  • (ESSENTIAL) – Strong Facilities Manager background
  • (ESSENTIAL) – Experience within a corporate office environment.
  • (ESSENTIAL) – Polished, well presented corporate style, with excellent relationship management skills.
  • (PREFERRED) – Experience within the Financial Services industry.
  • Pro-active “can do” attitude, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competency with MS Office programs.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
