FACILIITY MANAGER - Mayfield Aged Care
It is with great excitement that we are looking for an experienced Facility Manager to join our team in early to mid 2024 in a Full-Time capacity!
About Us
Mayfield Aged Care is a Residential Aged Care Facility - family-owned since 1982. As one of the few remaining privately owned facilities we pride ourselves in offering our residents a family style environment including quality care that focuses on their needs with an emphasises on a welcoming, comforting, and encouraging lifestyle.
After extensive updates and extensions, in 2024 our Crebert Street facility accommodates a total of 109 beds across both our East & West Wings.
About the Role
The Facility Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations and holistic clinical care aspects of the facility. A largely autonomous role, empowered by the support of their diverse team, the proprietors, and Board.
A role ideal for a collaborative and empathetic leader, working with a young and dynamic team of Clinical and Support staff. Focused on providing exceptional person-centred care, the successful candidate will have a strong ability to lead and mentor their team towards delivering the best care experience possible to our residents.

Duties:
- Accountable for the ongoing delivery of excellence in care to our residents.
- Ensuring the facilities’ ongoing and successful compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Promoting and maintaining a focus of holistic people-centred care, ensuring comfort, privacy, dignity, and preferences of each resident are respected.
- Working closely with the management team towards building and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and engaged culture.
- Accountable for all aspects of clinical care provision, and the operational & financial management of the facility.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, or other relevant & equivalent experience.
- A genuine passion and commitment to provide excellence within service/care delivery.
- Experience in Aged Care Clinical Management or Facility Management.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- High-level communication skills (verbal and written), including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Excellent Complaints and Risk Management skills.
