Job description

We currently have a contract opportunity for a Facility Services Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for the co-ordination of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance (RM) undertaken within the Facility for the allocated teams.

We currently have an opportunity for a Facility Services Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for the co-ordination of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance (RM) undertaken within the Facility for the allocated teams.

Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you can also expect to be involved in the advancement within our Royal Childrens Hospital contract; from innovating processes, to assisting on a variety of internal projects.

What you'll do

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

  • Management and supervision of leading hands and trade staff, scheduling of all reactive and preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the Service Agreements.
  • Provide technical advice across HVAC; Electrical distribution system including HV and LV; Diesel generators; trigeneration and UPS systems; Hydraulic services; Medical gas systems.
  • Preparation of the maintenance and asset register.
  • Ensure operational procedures and practices are being met.
  • Attending scheduled and ad hoc meetings with the client.
  • Seeking continuous improvement in delivering maintenance operations within the facility.

What you'll bring

  • Tertiary Qualification with an Engineering or Trade background.
  • Experienced in a similar role in facilities management, within health sector is beneficial.
  • Delivery of service-based maintenance contracts ensuring building services are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Management or supervisory roles of internal and/or external staff/teams.
  • Responding to and satisfying customer requirements.
