Factory Hands

IPA have a number of vacancies with our manufacturing client in Rockhampton.

We are looking for staff to work as all rounders for our client. The roles will involve working in their manufacturing section with machinery operating/manufacturing mill work and labouring or their logistics area.
All training is provided for all roles.

The successful candidates will be employed through IPA on a Labour Hire basis, however, there is long term potential for the right person, including permanent transition.

There are full time hours on offer, Monday to Friday.

We're looking for people with production, factory hand and or labouring experience.
Experience within manufacturing would be ideal, but is not essential.
Applicants who have great forklift operating skills will be highly regarded, though this is not essential.
As these positions are at times customer facing as well, applicants will possess a friendly and welcoming nature to deliver excellent customer service.

Duties of the role will include but are not limited to:

• Operating manufacturing machinery (Training provided)
• Manual Handling and general labouring duties
• Accepting deliveries
• Handling fragile product
• Loading and unloading manufactured product
• Picking and packing
• General housekeeping and cleaning of store area
• Adherence to workplace health and safety guidelines
• Working well within the team

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Demonstrated stores/warehousing experience OR general labouring experience
• Ability to learn and work within set timeframes
• A current driver's licence - CA accepted
• Strong basic computer skills
• Great with paperwork
• High attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• Forklift Licence - preferred
