About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the manufacturing and production processes. This role involves managing the production office team, scheduling, ensuring quality standards and meeting project deadlines. They will be working alongside a factory foreman to implement safety procedures, coordinate toolbox meetings and overall logistics of factory floor operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop production schedules, allocate resources, and set priorities to ensure timely completion of projects
- Monitor Production Orders, project timelines, and production capacity to prevent delays
- Team Leadership and Management as well as quality control
- Coordinate with the office team, and streamline communications to factory floor
- Delegate tasks, assign responsibilities, and provide guidance to ensure efficient and productive work
- Maximise the production workflow and set initial production schedule as per scope and project programme
- About You…
- 5+ years Factory or Production Management experience (ideally commercial or shopfitting)
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, guide, and mentor a diverse team.
- Effective delegation, communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and interact with staff and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage high stress environments
- Strong understanding of joinery fabrication processes, materials, and techniques
- Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office
- Experience in the Commercial Joinery/shopfitting industry is a must
