Form of workWe are a newly formed business who produces high end results and finishes , we are currently seeking a quality focused leader for the position of Supervisor (Powder Coating) on a full time basis.
About the role
This general position will oversee a small team of committed employees and will also perform the following duties on a regular basis;
• Ensure line operates to its optimum capacity
•
• Forecast/prepare operating schedules and labour requirements
•
• Ensure that finished products conform to established specifications of quality
•
• Ensure appropriate stock levels of finished products are maintained
•
• Purchase and maintain consumables
•
• Performing hands on tasks as required (assist with line operations and forklift driving etc)
•
• Ensure production costs remain within budget
•
• Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures
About you
As this is a broad role with a wide variety of responsibilities, we are looking to speak with individuals who thrive in diverse positions.
Applicants with the following skills, attributes and experience are encouraged to apply;
• Previous experience in production/manufacturing environments (experience with metal products or powder coating would be highly advantageous)
•
• The ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of clientele
•
• High level of computer skills are required as we are developing hi performance software to run this business
• Effective leadership skills with the ability to train and develop team members
•
• Strong administrative, reporting and forecasting skills
•
• Focus towards workplace quality and safety
