Job Description: We are currently hiring a skilled Factory Worker to join our manufacturing team in Australia. In this role, you will operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines and Edgebanders, playing a crucial part in the production of kitchen cabinets and countertops. Precision and quality are key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines and Edgebanders to cut, shape, and finish various kitchen components.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise production.
- Set up and calibrate machines for different tasks and materials.
- Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet our high-quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating CNC machines and Edgebanders in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
- Prior experience in kitchen manufacturing or cabinetry is a plus but not required.
