Flotech Solutions is a leading Australian-owned manufacturer of bulk water supply products in Sydney. We require a part time employee to work 3 days a week at our Berkshire Park site.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Work: Your main role would be testing and performing maintenance tasks on our products. This will require replacing worn parts and using a Test Rig. (Training will be provided)
- Assembly Work: Another responsibility would be assembling aluminium industrial products. Max 12kg each.
- Warehouse Work: You will be responsible for packing deliveries ready for shipping when required and receiving deliveries. (Forklift license is preferred)
- Local Deliveries: Local deliveries using our work Ute will be required occasionally. Must have a current driver's license.
- Computer Work: As part of the maintenance process, you will be required to log the results in our computer system. (Training Provided)
- Quality Checks: Ensure that the assembled components meet quality standards.
- Workspace Cleanliness: Keep your work area tidy and organised to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
The successful candidate must have:
- Mechanical Skills: Proficiency in understanding how to work with metal and workshop tools.
- Attention to Detail: The ability to notice and care about small things to ensure things are put together correctly
- Safety Consciousness: Always follow safety rules to keep yourself and others safe at work.
- Positive Attitude: Having a can-do attitude and being cooperative with your co-workers
- Eager to Learn: A strong desire to learn new things and improve your skills over time
