LKA Group is a national investigation company with decades of experience. We are looking to add talented, organised people, with enthusiasm and willingness to learn, to our workers compensation investigation team.

Our Victorian workers compensation team is small but contains managers with many years of experience who are able to support investigators to achieve high quality investigations. We work together in all things, and we provide extensive support, development and feedback to all our investigators.

We give our investigators control over how and when they work, with lots of opportunity to travel around Victoria, meet new people, and get a unique insight into their challenges and experiences. We have other departments to provide a career pathway for investigators willing to learn new skills.

4. accountability, and most importantly, 
5. willingness to learn.  

For this role, you will need to have completed a Certificate III Investigative Service and have applied for or obtained an investigator licence from Victoria Police. 

This work will suit people with experience in the legal industry, health & safety, engineering or HR.

Here’s what the role looks like 

• You will be provided with support to learn or improve existing skills to be able to undertake detailed investigations into physical and psychological claims.
• You will be invited to take on cases that suit your experience and location, based on what’s available and on a contract basis. 
• You’ll work closely with our investigation management team in our Carlton office, who are all fun but focussed experts in the field. 
• You’ll be trained in the use of our online case management system, and the administrative processes for each case. 
• You will scope and plan investigations, with our support and review. 
• You’ll conduct investigations, including inspecting sites, interviewing witnesses and writing statements, and gathering documents, with our support and a buddy. 
• You’ll prepare investigation reports and receive detailed feedback. 
• You’ll also be a part of our national organisation and our local investigation team, with all the HR, training, community and industry activities that go along with it.

We’ll shortlist applications and conduct a phone interview with good candidates, to assess your communication style.

We’ll ask those candidates to complete a short online assessment. 

Then, successful candidates will attend an interview with our workers compensation team, where you’ll be asked to demonstrate how you conduct a short investigative interview. We’ll also make sure we are a good cultural fit.

Rates are negotiable dependant on experience. Ongoing rate increases are commensurate with improving skills and experienced gained.
