ABOUT THE ROLE: We are currently seeking applicants to fill a vacancy for a Trainee Family DisputeResolution Practitioner & General Mediator (FDRP). This position with direct supervision will undertake on the job training and is required to observe and assist qualified FDRPs in their delivery of Family Dispute Resolution, mediation services and child inclusive practice; including intake assessments,  and developing case plans and parenting agreements under the jurisdiction of the Family Law Act. This position has been identified as a role requiring a First Nations worker to work closely with the local community and support the Organisation through the provision of information and advice related to working with First Nations communities. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week and will be based at our Dubbo Family Relationship Centre. Ongoing employment in this role is based upon the successful completion of successfully gaining relevant tertiary qualifications and accreditation with the Attorney General’s Department as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. The successful applicant will be required to have access to their own vehicle. This position has the flexibility to do some work from home. The hourly rate is $36.32.  Minimum Qualifications: Eligibility to enroll in an approved Dispute Resolution/mediation/conciliation course that leads to qualification as a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and General Mediator. Please note: The successful applicant will need to be eligible to enrol in the Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution through the Mediation Institute.
