Family and Domestic Violence Worker

We're seeking an experienced Family and Domestic Violence Worker to join our team at South Eastern Community Connect (SECC) in Mascot, Sydney. This is a full-time position working with families and children impacted by family and Domestic Violence (FDV) in south-east Sydney.

About the role:

  • Provide case management and support to families and children experiencing FDV
  • Facilitate education and skills information sessions
  • Develop and deliver innovative programs
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver community events and festivals
  • Collect and collate data for reporting requirements

Essential requirements:

  • Relevant degree and experience in social work or equivalent
  • Experience working with families and children impacted by FDV
  • Trauma-informed practice model and therapeutic approaches
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations

Further info:

This contracted position is full-time ending 30 June 2025, with the possibility of contract extension (pending future funding). 

You will need a current driver’s license and a comprehensively insured vehicle.

This position is paid under the SCHADS Award Level 5.1 - $93,858.96 per annum, plus superannuation.
