AddressHogg and Associates Lawyers is a boutique Family Law firm in the Summer Hill Village of Sydney’s Inner West.
We are currently offering a full-time position at our firm as a legal assistant. This role would be suitable for someone completing their Practical Legal Training. The position is offered full-time, although part-time (3 days per week) will be considered if you are completing the coursework component of the Practical Legal Training part-time.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting our solicitors with drafting court documents and correspondence,
- File management and preparation of briefs for hearing,
- Reviewing documents,
- Assisting with the preparations of statements of account,
- Undertaking legal research,
- Drafting articles, and
- General administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will be completing a Bachelor of Laws and have:
- A keen interest in Family Law,
- Excellent attention to detail,
- An ability to follow instructions,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and
- A willingness to help and assist clients and staff with any tasks as required.
