AddressWe have been instructed to find a Family Lawyer to join the team of one of our clients’ teams in their Shellharbour/Wollongong office. Our client is a mid-sized & reputable law firm with 6 offices across NSW and are a multi-service practice servicing a loyal client base across NSW.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to
- Managing a medium sized & mixed caseload of anything that falls under the family law umbrella to include adoption, divorce, children matters, property settlements, pre-nuptial, domestic violence, same sex relationships, de facto, property, parenting and separation.
- Liaising and working with a diverse client base locally and across NSW.
- Working closely with a Senior Associate within the team and being mentored to develop family law experience & skills.
- Providing expert advice and representation to clients.
- Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives.
- Be a minimum of 6 months PQE working within family law.
- Have the ability to manage a mixed caseload of family law matters.
- Be willing to learn and develop family law skillset, being mentored by a Senior Associate within the team.
- Have excellent oral and written skills.
- Have the ability to be empathetic & personable with clients.
- High level of organisation and attention to detail.
