Hours: Full Time, 38hrs per week - or prorata 30hrs also available.

Salary range: $75,000-$85,000 (inc. Superannuation) dependent on experience.

Benefits: Further incentives may be offered based on business and individual performance.

Location: Brisbane or Sunshine Coast, QLD.  Role primarily based from home with training, some client visits and team events in person.

Second Me Services is seeking a motivated, skilled Family Support Worker -Team Leader to join our team. As a Team Leader, you will be instrumental in the growth of our business, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional services to our clients. You’ll play a crucial role in bringing order and balance to the lives of busy families, enabling them to focus on what truly matters.

Responsibilities

· Team Leadership:

o   Recruit, train, and lead a team of Second Me Family Support Specialists.

o   Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that reflects the values of Second Me Services.

· Client Service Delivery:

o   Lead client relationships and deliver Family Support work including provision of support, information and advice to clients on home services, health, recreation, shopping and coordinate providers in these areas.

o   Needs analysis and planning for our clients including developing tailored plans to support their unique needs

o   Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their evolving needs.

o   Interviewing clients and assessing the nature and extent of their requirements

o   Monitoring and reporting on the progress of clients 

o   Referring clients to providers and coordinating appointments

· Service Quality Assurance:

o   Establish and maintain quality standards for the services provided by Second Me.

o   Address feedback from clients and service providers

o   Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure client satisfaction.

· Financial Management:

o   Manage budgets for Second Me Services, ensuring financial sustainability.

o   Monitor financial performance and implement cost-effective measures.

· Operational Efficiency:

o   Streamline and optimise operational processes for both client management and internal operations.

o   Implement tools and systems to enhance efficiency and communication.

o   Provide general business support to the Director.

· Business Development:

o   Work closely with the Director & marketing team to grow the business via sales activities.

o   Identify and target key markets for expansion, collaborating with the marketing team.

· Compliance, Safety and Legal:

o   Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements.

o   Develop and maintain policies and procedures to safeguard the interests of clients and the company.

Qualifications & experience

Diploma level or above qualifications and experience and certifications in Personal, Disability Services & Aged Care highly regarded.

Blue Card for working with children and NDIS Yellow Card or willingness to obtain these is mandatory.

Familiarity with My Aged Care and NDIS is desirable.
