About You:
- Availability: You're available for early mornings, afternoons, and some weekends. Starting off on 10-15 hours with the potential to increase hours available for the right person.
- Experience: You have extensive experience working with children and young people especially those with challenging behaviours (1+ years preferred). You have experience and are confident supporting clients with a range of diagnoses such as intellectual disabilities and Cerebral Palsy. Supporting clients with high care needs, assisting with personal care, feeding and helping them to live life to the fullest. Experience with PDA, ADHD and Autism is also preferred.
- You're patient, kind, and have a passion for helping others
- This role will include in-home care, general tidying/organising and community access.
- Skills: You're organised, proactive, and have advanced interpersonal skills. You are confident and reliable.
- Vaccination: You're fully vaccinated
Qualifications (Completed or In Progress):
- Early Childhood Qualification
- Individual Support Qualification
- Community Services Qualification or similar
Other Requirements (Must have or willing to obtain):
- Blue Card
- NDIS Workers Screening
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Driver's license and a reliable, safe vehicle with comprehensive insurance (required)
