Form of workWork includes planting, harvesting and packing various crop varieties, and general farm hand tasks. Some basic tractor & forklift operation will be required. Job will be part time hours of 30 hours per week and can include weekend work.
Flexibility with hours is required, depending on weather and crop maturity. 10 positions will have various starting dates over March to June. Workers must be able to commit to at least 9 months of continual work and have the ability to do physical labour in hot humid conditions in the field.
Training is provided. Work will be located at Gracemere & Rockhampton surrounding areas. Workers will be paid as Level 2 under the Horticultural Award $23.23 per hour.
